We’ve lived the challenges of rebuilding, and we’re committed to bringing that care and understanding into every project. BZ Build Co. was born from the experience and legacy of Brennan Construction, a trusted local builder with deep roots in the community. A company built on transparency, craftsmanship, and trust.

Our founders are your neighbors, your friends, and the people you went to school with. We live here, we work here, and we’re committed to building homes that reflect the values and personality of this community.

What’s the process to get started?

We’ve designed a simple 3-step process to make getting started easy and low-commitment:

Step 1 – DESIGN YOUR HOME: We provide a concept design to create your dream floor plan with precision and creativity.

Step 2 – PLANS & PERMITS: We develop a full set of architectural and structural plans for county approval.

Step 3 – CONSTRUCTION: We develop a plan that ensures high-quality results, delivered on time and within budget.

How long does it take to build a home?

The timeline can vary, but here’s a typical breakdown:

Permits & Approvals: The city typically takes 3 to 5 months to review and approve architectural plans.

Construction: Once permits are in hand, construction usually takes 6 to 12 months.

Total Timeframe: If everything goes smoothly, you could have keys to your new home in about 12 months. On the longer side, it could be closer to 18 months, especially with customizations or weather delays.

What factors can impact the timeline?

Several factors can influence how quickly your home gets built:

Weather – Heavy rain or extreme weather can delay progress.

Design Decisions – We offer a full design studio to help you make choices faster, which can save weeks (or even months) in the process.

Customization Level – The more custom features (like cabinetry, finishes, or specialty materials), the more time it can take.

If everything goes smoothly, it’s possible to complete your home in less than 12 months — but we always recommend planning for flexibility.
